Our Mission
PDSCC (Phoenix Desi Sports and Cultural Club) is a movement of cultures working together to change our community through a network of cultural leaders, gatherings, events, sports and resources. Giving future generations exposure they deserves.
To enable this to happen there are people and teams all across the community pushing this common vision. All this requires time, investment and application of the gifts culture gives to each of us.
What We Believe
We believe it is important to develop an understanding of and appreciation for traditions of culture and belief in human societies, our events are a way to do just that. We do out best to raise awareness for our youth so they can examine and understand ways in which traditions of culture and belief shape the identities of individuals and communities. The role of culture and belief in shaping identities and communities is not simple: culture and belief can cause change, and they can also be sources of resistance to change. Cultural expressions have never been more widely disseminated. Music, images, and literature of all kinds are accessible to an extent unheard of even twenty years ago, and this has altered the way we think about cultures. We are more aware than ever of the degree to which cultures feed off one another across national, regional, religious, and ethnic boundaries. PDSCC is an honest effort to bring alive different cultures from Eastern Asia.

Get Connected
Connect with PDSCC and become part of a moment that continues to grow with community participation. There are many ways to promote your community. Share PDSCC with you family and friends. Culture pass it on.
Being a culture keeper is more than just a title or status – it is a daily process whereby you grow your culture inside yourself and pass it on to your family and friends and then the whole community.
Keeping culture exclusive cannot grow culture; only sharing can do that. Shunning other cultures cannot bring your culture to light; only understanding and love can do that.
Culture is the intersection of people and life itself. It’s how we deal with life, love, death, birth, disappointment… all of that is expressed in culture.
